X-Change™ Life [v0.20] By Aphrodite

Aphrodite Games released a new game called X-Change™ Life and the version is 0.20. The game’s story is about is a daily life Twine RPG based in a universe where it’s normal to take over-the-counter, gender-swapping pills that last 24 hours (or more).​

Version 0.20 – Ties That Bind (2024-06-12)

Sorry this one took a while (partially due to releasing a new game!) – but this update is very juicy – 4 major new sex scenes, lots of story content, and lots of improvements and enhanced content across the board.

• Sex with Alexia (2 different scenes) – if you improve your relationship enough with your stepsister, and bring her to the club, you may be able to take her to a motel afterwards! There are 2 scenes – one is unique and only happens once, and the other is replayable with lots of variety. This scene also has around 10 sub-scenes that you will need to replay it multiple times to see the majority of the story content around it.
• (Jade female player character) – New replayable Gym sex scene with a swimming contest minigame, and the potential to win money! This one is focused a lot around risk of pregnancy – requires specific outfit to unlock
• (Lana female player character) – New replayable Gym sex scene – requires specific outfit to unlock
• New X-Change Pill: Bimbo – this limits your intelligence – MOSTLY temporarily  – and gives you a unique portrait, as well as some unique bimbo dialogue and mechanics
• New X-Change Pill: Compliant – this makes you much more likely to want to make other people happy, and you have a MUCH harder time turning down requests or commands
• Updated game engine – community member @Apologetic helped rewrite the Twine Harlowe source code to be much faster and more efficient, and now performance has been much improved
• New movie dates system – right now just Alexia is enabled for this system but NPCs will be added
• New memories system to increase immersion, lots of the things you do now will affect the rest of the game, as well as your own mental state
• Masturbate as a male without porn – uses memories system so that you pick a specific thing to jerk off to
• Your character can now have stat upper limits based on their personality type (loser, jock, playboy), take these limits for additional XP bonuses
• Expanded Cock Roulette with new content
• Overhauled clothes shopping experience with filters, sorting and stuff!
• 900+ new outfits! (Thanks to community member Curio)
• Dream system, decisions you make in dreams can affect your masculinity / reluctance
• There’s now a Blockbuster at the mall
• Integrated “Bring her Back” pill by community member UsagiTripleSix, which makes it so your coworkers get used to your female version and tend to prefer it 
• Bruce can now date Alexia, and while this is happening, it blocks off some of your content with her
• Lots of other improvements, additions and bugfixes throughout the game, including updating some very old scenes.

Developer Notes:

This game is still in an early stage of development, as I am still building out the core game mechanics. That said, there are already a large number of scenes to try out, although some are tricky to find. Go to the tip jar in the cafe for hints!

X-Change™ Life is a daily life RPG based in a universe where it’s normal to take over-the-counter gender swapping pills that last 24 hours (or more). The game features heavily minigame-driven gameplay to determine passing / failing checks at different points. You’ll always have the option to skip minigames by using a “skill check”, where your % success chance is driven by your character’s stats/skills. I really enjoy gamifying sex actions, and prefer sex to feel more “interactive” rather than a slideshow or a wall of text as in most Twine-based games. So, I am just making what I personally enjoy the most, but your mileage may vary. The game is slightly limited by what is possible to write in Twine, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised if you allow yourself to get into it.
